Catalyst 2019 Informational Webinar

CCI hosts an informational webinar for safety net healthcare organizations and community-based organizations interested in applying to Catalyst.

Laura Blumenthal, Senior Program Manager, and Diana Nguyen, Program Coordinator at CCI, provide a program overview and information about how to apply.


This webinar should be viewed by anyone who is interested in applying to the Catalyst program or learning more about the application process. The program is open to safety net healthcare organizations, that provide comprehensive primary care services to underserved populations, and community-based organizations, that provide direct services to improve physical, mental, social, environmental or economic wellbeing in underserved populations. Non-eligible organizations may still participate on a fee-basis.


  1. The Catalyst program is a 6-month capability building program where participants learn and practice “design thinking” skills.
  2. Grantees will be receive on going coaching, hands on training, virtual support and a stipend between $7,000-12,500 to offset team time and travel costs, as part of the program.
  3. This program is time-intensive and requires teams to attend all in-person workshops, as they are the bulk of the capability building process.
  4. Applications are due online on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 5 pm PST.
