Since 2018, CCI and Genentech Charitable Giving have been helping lead the charge in the San Francisco Bay Area to support safety net organizations in addressing childhood adversity through Resilient Beginnings.
This series of learning collaboratives have provided support, resources, and dedicated time to train providers and clinic staff to understand trauma-informed care, adopt a trauma- and resilience-informed culture, understand and respond to adversity and toxic stress, and deepen the relationships with patients and their families.
