Dr. Lyn Berry from Highland Hospital explains how their Patient Advisory Councils were established, maintained and continue to support the needs of their diverse patient population.

Highland Hospital is a public hospital network in Oakland, California. Their Advisory Councils meet in English, Spanish and Mien. This talk is facilitated by Dr. Anjana Sharma, family medicine research fellow at the Center for Excellence in Primary Care at UCSF. Her research focuses on patient engagement within quality improvement activities.
