In this time of COVID-19, safety net providers are looking for solutions for providing care without requiring patients to physically go into the clinic. Many are switching their scheduled in-person visits to telephone or video visits.

Below are some sample workflows and guidance for how clinics are making this transition:

NextGen Phone Visit Workflow

This workflow is used by an FQHC that uses NextGen to transfer in person visits to telephone visits. It includes roles and responsibilities for all staff for each step. Download Workflow

San Francisco Health Network Workflows and How-To Videos

UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations has gathered resources to help patients who may have limited digital literacy or limited English proficiency in using video visits.
