Scott has spent 7 years developing data solutions in healthcare. With expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and the nonprofit health sector, Scott plays a key role in managing the data for the Coalition of Orange County Community Health Clinics where he works on data analytics, AI integration, and designing data architectures that identify and predict clinical outcomes. He has spent the last 3 years advising clinics on advancing their understanding of data tools, exploring data-based solutions, and helping to build evaluations for new AI products being used in the sector.

- May 6, 2025 — Lessons Learned from Replicating an AI/ML-Driven Pediatric Asthma Care Model Across Safety Net Settings with Dr. Cesar Termulo, Jr. of Parkland Hospital, and Dr. Yolande Pengetnze, VP of Clinical Leadership at PCCI. - April 3, 2025 — Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in the FQHC Setting: Lessons Learned in Early Implementation with Dr. Hakeem O. Adeniyi, Jr., Chief Clinical Officer at Sacramento Native American Health Center (SNAHC). This presentation focused on the SNAHC’s experience with incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their care delivery model to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and health equity. Dr. Adeniyi covered the journey of integrating AI tools within clinical and administrative workflows, including Remote Patient Monitoring, Chronic Care Management, Behavioral Health Integration, and predictive analytics for population health management. The presentation highlights practical lessons learned from early implementation efforts, including selecting appropriate AI technologies, training clinical and administrative teams, navigating data privacy concerns, and measuring outcomes. Additionally, it explores challenges specific to the FQHC environment, such as budget constraints, interoperability issues, and addressing disparities in technology access. Viewers should gain insights about factors that impact best practices for successful AI adoption, key performance indicators to track progress, and strategies for building partnerships to enhance AI-driven care delivery.
- March 6, 2025 — Harnessing AI in a Safety Net Hospital with Dr. Yasir Tarabichi, Chief Health AI Officer at MetroHealth. Dr. Tarabichi shared his firsthand experience in a safety net hospital setting. He discussed responsible AI deployment, balancing innovation with equity, and highlighted MetroHealth’s successful use of EHR-based sepsis and no-show models. Dr. Tarabichi emphasized data interoperability and practical strategies for precision population health management, offering actionable insights from a real-world perspective.
