ABOUT
For the past six years, CCI and Prime Health have supported and convened innovation influencers like you to grow innovation capabilities across Colorado’s health care safety net. On June 7th, we are hosting a gathering for CHIC alumni with a focus on connection and skill-building to enhance our collective efforts to strengthen Colorado’s health innovation network.
During this unique opportunity, you will…
- Reconnect and network with CHIC alumni and innovation champions,
- Participate in a human-centered design skill-building workshop,
- Identify shared problems and ideate solutions with peers on the topic of workforce resilience,
- Learn about future opportunities to build community with your peers,
- Be invited to join the 2024 Innovation Cycle: an accelerated train-the-trainer opportunity to utilize and refine your human-centered design skills to support your organization’s innovative work.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS EVENT
CHIC Alumni Team Leads and Innovation Champions
- This event is open to 2-3 people from all Wave 1 and Wave 2 CHIC organizations. We recommend that at least one CHIC alumni team lead join.
- Team leads are individuals that have been highly involved in leading the organization’s CHIC efforts and are able to drive change in the organization at the leadership level.
- Innovation champions are individuals that have been involved in their organization’s CHIC efforts and are dedicated to growing innovation capabilities individually and in support of the organization.
- You may also choose to invite a team member that is supporting your organizations’ workforce recruitment, retention, and related strategies, which we are calling workforce resilience.
Travel & Reimbursement
To support equitable access to our events, CCI will provide reimbursement for mileage and hotel costs for individuals traveling a considerable distance, for up to two individuals per organization. If you plan to book a hotel room the night before, we have a total maximum reimbursement of $250 per person, including all taxes and fees, for one night for individuals at organizations that are located more than 1.5 hours away from the venue. If your organization is within 1.5 hours of the venue, hotel costs will not be reimbursed. Please reach out to us if you have questions or need additional support.
Important: You must complete a reimbursement request within 30 days of the expense to receive reimbursement. Submit reimbursements here.
PREPARING FOR THIS EVENT
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell. We will provide masks, COVID tests, and hand sanitizer during the event to use as needed. Color-coded accessories will be provided to signal social distancing preferences. Please refer to CDC Guidelines for additional information about COVID-19 protocols.
