As Program Coordinator, Maria (she/her) primarily focuses on supporting CCI’s Colorado Health Innovation Community (CHIC) and Population Health Management Initiative (PHMI) projects. Additionally, she provides support to our Connected Care Accelerator team on the Journey Map artifacts and other telehealth products for widespread use.
Maria joins CCI from Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC), a long-time participant in CCI’s programs in Los Angeles. At NEVHC, she held the position of Telehealth Care Coordinator, and while actively involved in the Connected Care Accelerator (CCA): Equity Collaborative, she also supported patients, providers, and staff on telehealth sustainability and training. Maria received her bachelor degrees in Public Health Policy and Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. Outside of work, she enjoys designing, reading web comics, learning a new language, and volunteering as an ESL (English as a second language) Aide.
