As one of CCI’s Graduate Student Program Associates, Emma supports research and data analysis activities for CCI’s Blue Shield reflection grant and the Exploring Innovative Partnerships for Housing and Health (EIPHH) project.

Emma is an MPH student at UC Berkeley in the Epidemiology and Biostatistics program. She brings experience with mixed-methods studies and communications, including supporting the implementation of a study to assess reproductive health access for young women in Northern Tanzania, managing communication efforts for the Wallace Center for Maternal, Child, & Adolescent Health, assisting with women’s health and COVID research for Kaiser Family Foundation, and doing research and data management with the United Nations Foundation.

Emma enjoys reading in the park, hiking, walking around the city, and finding new bagel places. She would like to one day have a dog, and if she were to compete in the Olympics in something that is not an Olympic sport, it would be a Harry Potter trivia competition.
