We’re excited that many of you have begun your organization-wide training planning with Jen Leland and Jill Sulka of Trauma Transformed. We’ve had many recurring questions come up so we’ve put together this initial FAQ.

| Make Time for Evaluation Surveys | When trainings are scheduled back to back, it’s hard to collect feedback from staff about their experience. We’re asking organizations that are doing two-hour trainings and those that are back-to-back to send out electronic surveys after the training versus paper surveys. There are some great organizational measures in the survey that extend beyond the training itself that we think could be very helpful with your teams’ overall efforts. |
| Factor in Buffer Time | If possible, create some space in the day for staff so that they don’t have patients waiting to be seen immediately after the training. Even 10-15 minutes of buffer time is helpful. |
| Invite Partners | Consider inviting outside partners or even board members to your organization-wide training. WCHC, for example, is inviting their local school partners to attend the training, since they plan to collaborate with them through this program. |

| What resources do you have available for communicating about the training to my organization? | We have marketing materials, email language & templates, etc. that we can help adapt for your needs. Again, let us know what you need. |

| What will be covered in the curriculum for the TIC training? | Curriculum is being finalized and will be available early August.

| Training Format/Interactivity | The training will be mostly didactic with some video and paired activities. Participants will also walk out with a packet of tools answering the question “How can I put this into practice tomorrow?” and some quick tools to keep at their desk/clinic environments. |

| Facilities/Space for trainings | Trauma Transformed is generally looking to your organizations to coordinate space/facilities to host the training; however, we do have some spaces available – reach out to us if you need assistance. |
| Is it feasible for Trauma Transformed to train groups simultaneously at different locations throughout our organization? | Yes AND will depend on scheduling and booking of trainers. It would be difficult to schedule more than 2 simultaneous trainings but if we could pull it off with trainers, we would make it happen. |
| How many times can you provide the training? | We are contracted for 35 trainings for the entire cohort. We will work with your team or designated person to create feasible plans falling within the limit. If you have an upcoming staff training/leadership meeting/retreat that might be a good opportunity for the training, please let us know.

| How many people can attend each training session? | For 2-hour RBC-customized training: Training will be offered to groups of 40-80 people.
For 3.5-hour full Trauma Transformed curriculum: Training can be delivered to groups up to 200 individuals.

| Will there be CMEs or CEUs offered?
|
Because we are customizing the content, we may need to re-apply for CEU/CME and are looking into this availability.
