CCI hosted an informational webinar for safety net primary care organizations interested in applying to Addiction Treatment Starts Here: Primary Care.

Tammy Fisher, Senior Director at CCI and Dr. Brian Hurley, Director of Addiction Medicine at L.A. County Department of Human Services, provide an overview of the program content and design, as well as information about how to apply.

WHO SHOULD WATCH THIS WEBINAR?

This webinar should be viewed by anyone who is interested in applying to the Addiction Treatment Starts Here: Primary Care program or learning more about the application process and eligibility criteria. The program is open to safety net healthcare organizations, that provide comprehensive primary care services to underserved populations, and community-based organizations, that provide direct services to improve physical, mental, social, environmental or economic wellbeing in underserved populations.   1. The Addiction Treatment Starts Here: Primary Care program is an 18-month program designed to increase access to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in primary care for patients with opioid use disorder (OUD).
  2. Grantees will receive access to technical assistance experts and coaches to help you design, standardize or spread your program. Grants of $50,000 will be awarded to accepted organizations or organization sites.
  3. Applicants should either already have an x-waivered clinician working at the organization or organizational site or have a specific plan in place to waiver a clinician.
