Workflows around provider ordering and referral — and care team roles and responsibilities — can get the right devices to the right patients. Distribution of devices can vary depending on the patient’s insurance coverage (or lack thereof). Here, patient consent forms and usage agreements that are signed by both patients and the care team that specify their mutual responsibilities. Inventory management should also be considered — either centralized or distributed to sites in a hub-and-spoke model — as well as device recalibration and refurbishing.
