During this demo, Cherokee Health Systems reviewed six behavioral health templates that have been designed by Cherokee Health Systems for use within NextGen.
These templates included the Behavioral Health Intake (adult and pediatrics), the Patient Centered Comprehensive Care Plan, the Behavioral Health progress note, the Behavioral Health Consult (for use when a visit focuses on a medical diagnosis and for which a health and behavior code is utilized), and the Behavioral Health Consult follow up (linked to a medical diagnosis and a health and behavior code). The demo will highlight workflow considerations, clinical decision-making strategies that have been built within the templates, as well as features that reduce provider documentation burden.
