Connected Care Accelerator: Equity Collaborative Kickoff Webinar

CCI has hosted its kickoff webinar for organizations participating in the Connected Care Accelerator: Equity Collaborative.

WHO SHOULD WATCH THIS WEBINAR?

CCA program participants who missed the webinar or who would like to revisit the overview to review program expectations and activities.

overview:

  1. The CCA equity collaborative grows out of the work of CCI’s original Connected Care Accelerator and Virtual Care Innovation Network. The objective of this 12-month equity collaborative, supported by the California Health Care Foundation with additional funding from Cedars Sinai, is to build upon learnings from CCI’s Virtual Care Learning Hub, rapidly designing, scaling and sharing new strategies and continuing to improve Equitable Telehealth Access. Program participants will be expected to share best practices and learnings with their peer community. We look forward to learning with you!
  2. The digital divide is still an enormous challenge for low-income, rural and migrant communities, among others, who often lack broadband and support for virtual care.  In this webinar, CCA teams engage in small group discussions around virtual care inequities and how to improve equitable virtual care access.
  3. The first phase of the program (Phase 1) will focus on reflecting and defining the problem of telehealth disparities. Through different activities, teams will bring together insights from the Telehealth Utilization Data and the Equitable Telehealth Practices Assessment to help create an initial aim statement.
