Jennifer serves as an improvement advisor and manages programmatic work within CCI’s delivery system reform programming. She trains and supports coaches and senior leaders in key improvement initiatives, and facilitates redesign efforts to improve patient outcomes.

Jennifer comes to CCI with a varied background in community health programming, quality improvement, and project management. Much of Jennifer’s health care experience came from her time at L.A. Care Health Plan, leading projects related to health information technology adoption and use, QI program development, and finance administration. Prior to coming on board at CCI, she led The San Francisco Foundation’s community health grantmaking portfolio as a Multicultural Fellow. The primary focus of her grantmaking was supporting strategies to integrate community health workers in the care team, as well as providing core operating support to safety net organizations addressing social determinants of health.

Jennifer received both a bachelor’s degree in public health and a master’s degree in public health focused on health and social behavior and multicultural health from the University of California, Berkeley. (Go Bears!) When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys date-night cooking with her husband, playing with her daughter, bingeing on great television shows, and finding good bargains.
