Bijal joins CCI with more than seven years of experience working in strategy and operations at large delivery systems across the country.

Before joining CCI, Bijal was a Senior Managerial Consultant at Kaiser Permanente with Northern California’s medical group. In this role, she worked with clinical leaders and frontline staff to develop strategic plans, design new models of care, and spread best practices to improve operations. Bijal supported frontline teams to leverage performance improvement tools to assess the current state, set goals for the future state, build consensus for ideas among a diverse set of stakeholders, and then operationalize those ideas. She has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of clinical areas including mental health, diabetic retinopathy screening, endocrinology, rheumatology, allergy, and surgical subspecialties.

Bijal earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, anthropology and sociology at Lafayette College and a master’s degree in health management and policy from University of Michigan School of Public Health. Bijal was trained as an improvement advisor by Kaiser Permanente’s Improvement Institute. Outside of work, Bijal enjoys exploring new places, hiking and finding bodies of water to swim in with her husband, daughter and dog.
