Lucia Angel from San Francisco Health Network shares best practices for starting patient advisory councils from the ground up.

How many patients should I recruit? Should I offer stipends? What makes an advisory council successful? This webinar responds to these questions and more.

In 2011, Lucia launched a patient advisory council at the Zuckerberg San Francisco Public Hospital’s Family Health Center, a large multilingual public health primary care clinic. She now leads the Patient Advisory Council Collaborative, an initiative to start or support advisory councils at all 14 of the primary care clinics in the San Francisco Health Network.

Hosted in partnership with the UCSF Center for Excellence in Primary Care (CEPC), with support from Blue Shield of California Foundation, this webinar is part of an ongoing series on patient engagement. It follows the success of our Facilitating Care Integration webinar series.
